Scientists had predicted this disaster, and in response, the leaders of every country met to develop a plan for human survival before the meteor hit. The Seven Seeds project was developed out of this meeting. Each country froze a number of young healthy people, which allowed them to survive the meteor. After the computer determined that Earth was once again safe for human life, it released them into the world. The Japanese government created five groups of survivors: Winter group, Spring group, Summer group A, Summer group B, and Fall group. Each group consisted of seven members and one guide. The guide carried small tubes of poison on their necks to allow them to end their lives if their situation became unbearable. The Japanese government prepared seven "Fuji" as refuges for the groups. In each Fuji, the group would find seeds and numerous books instructing them on survival in the wilderness. It premiered on TV on January 14th, 2020.
E01Spring Begins
★8.2Along with three others, Natsu wakes up with no idea what's happened. The four of them reach an island and try to figure out a way to survive.
E02Insects Awaken
★8Convinced that Botan has kidnapped them, Natsu and Arashi sneak out of camp and run into another survivor. Finally, Botan reveals what she knows.
E03Light Snow
★7Natsu's clumsiness indirectly leads Team Summer B to the rest of their group. Her memories help them figure out their location, and their next moves.
E04Autumn Begins
★7.3Arashi, Natsu and Semimaru stumble upon the Team Autumn settlement in the former Kobe region. They seem to be thriving, but their leaders are tyrants.
E05Heavy Snow
★7.3In the ruins of Tokyo, Natsu, Arashi and Semimaru meet the sole survivor of Team Winter. Team Spring reaches Mt. Ogino Fuji and finds Natsu's message.
E06Grain Rain
★7.5Aramaki joins Team Spring, despite Fujiko's doubts. Hana decides to search for Arashi after hearing that Aramaki met someone who fits his description.
E07Winter Solstice
★7.3Hana and her companions discover a massive underground shelter. They find a survivor’s diary and learn the cruel fate of those who took refuge there.
E08Summer Solstice
★7.3Hana's group and the Team Autumn survivors find the Spring settlement destroyed and abandoned. Momotaro wakes up among strangers.
E09Lesser Heat
★6.7To survive, Hana and the others work together with Team Summer A. On the ship, Hotaru's cousin Hibari tells Natsu that Hotaru is slowly dying.
E10Cold Dew
★7Ango recalls his harsh upbringing in the program and the brutal graduation test that winnowed the survivors down to the final Team Summer A members.
E11Greater Heat
★7.3Hana becomes convinced that Ango will kill her if she stays in the village. Natsu and the others make landfall near the former Autumn settlement.
E12End of Heat
★7.7Ryo orders Hana to join him in searching for a water source underground, putting her in a vulnerable position. In the caves, Ango recalls Shigeru.
