Wagahai wa Inu de Aru: Don Matsugoro no Seikatsu

The special revolves around a talking dog named Don Matsugorou and his family. Mr. Matsuzawa is a novelist who lives in Chiba Prefecture. Only his daughter Kazuko knows that the family dog, Don Matsugorou, can talk. Don is wounded in a fight with the neighbors' dog, King, a nouveau-riche mongrel with ideas above his station. In addition to this, Don Matsugorou must save Chotaro, a fellow dog who gets kidnapped, and might even find love in another dog, Ogin, along the way.
